One Port. Infinite Connections.
MAINPORT unifies access to the Internet, Internet Exchanges and Cloud connectivity across Frankfurt’s leading data centers — via a single physical port with dynamic allocation of services and automated billing.
What is MAINPORT?
Traditional colocation means ordering a separate cross-connect for every carrier, exchange, and cloud provider you want to reach. MAINPORT replaces that with a single physical port.
Services are provisioned over dedicated VLANs — Internet, IX access, Cloud, private interconnects. You add, swap, or scale them without touching hardware, without new cross-connect orders, and with a single unified bill.
What you can run on your port
Choose the services you need — add or scale them at any time without ordering a new cross‑connect.

- Eligibility: Only customers directly connected to the MAINPORT fabric via a physical port on-site. Peering via transport circuits, remote hand-offs, virtual machines or tunnels is not permitted.
- No reselling: Resale, sublicensing or offering the peering LAN to third parties is not allowed.
- Scope of traffic: Traffic must originate from or be destined to your own AS and your direct customers only — no third-party transit.
- BGP: Peering sessions are established bilaterally between members; MAINPORT does not participate in BGP sessions.
- Interfaces: Hand-off via your MAINPORT One port (10 / 25 / 40 / 100 Gbit/s, LR / LR4 / BiDi as agreed), VLAN-based delivery.
